You know you should leave her when…

If you’re one of the many people who have a Facebook account, then you might have seen your friends join this group. If you live under a rock, I’ll explain: Basically, he proposed to his girlfriend twice; the first time she flat out said no. He, living by the “she’s only playing hard to get” philosophy, decides to propose again. She then gives him a challenge: Make a Facebook group, and if 1 170 000 people join it, she’d marry him. Of course, he did it.

Engagement: Worth one popular Facebook group

What he forgot is that this is on the internet, where people are inherently jerks. In a weird sort of vigilante justice, there were many people messaging this “Caroline” telling her that she was a bitch.

And really, I don’t disagree with them.

Okay, maybe they first should have called the creator of the group (who has since left the group) a dumbass for putting her first name out there, but as soon as she made that promise, he should have left marriage alone. She was obviously not ready for commitment, and although on Facebook, hundreds of thousands of people join pointless groups because they think they can change people’s lives (another article), I bet she wouldn’t have gone through with it.

Basically, the moral of the story is if she values marriage equal to a popular Facebook group, she doesn’t want marriage.
